JustServe Project Details
We are excited for volunteers (18 & older) to learn about Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) and have a wonderful time with these amazing families. PWS is a complex syndrome manifesting on the 15th chromosome that brings cognitive impairment, weak muscle tone, and most interestingly and hard, an insatiable appetite and food seeking.
You will work directly with children and adults with PWS along with wonderfully trained support, allowing their parents to attend training classes. The families will be coming from all over the world, but mostly from the United States.
The conference will be held at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa: 8000 S. Arizona Grand Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85044. Parking vouchers, T-Shirts, lunch and snacks are provided.
Volunteers are needed on Friday and Saturday, June 27 & 28, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the programs for children (siblings and children with PWS) and adults with PWS. We’d love it if you could volunteer both days, but one day is also great! (Click on the date(s) you are available on the calendar when volunteering).

Volunteers are needed for these fun groups:
Little Tikes (6 weeks – 2 years): There will be trained staff and nurses working with the children. Volunteers will primarily interact with the children during their activities and never be left alone and will not have to do any toileting or changing of diapers.
Junior Camp (Ages 2 years – 6 years): Volunteers will primarily interact with the children and help with activities and crafts. Volunteers will not have to change children.
Adventure Camp (Ages 7-70+): Volunteers will help with activities along with a trained staff.
Sibling Camp (Ages 7-12): Volunteers will interact with the children and help with facilitating activities.
You will love these kids and always remember this experience!
