The Mountain of the Lord Rendezvous isn’t just a camp—it’s a soul-awakening ascent.
It’s a rare invitation for young men to rise above the noise of the world and catch a vision of who they truly are and who they’re meant to become. On this sacred summit, they continue their bold journey of becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.
Rooted in the inspired framework of the Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Camp Guide, this experience challenges and refines the whole young man – spiritually, socially, intellectually and physically – helping him to become more like the Savior and preparing him to walk boldly in his divine identity. It’s a place of stretching and strengthening, where young men walk the path of prophets, climbing toward and connecting with Heaven just as Moses and Nephi once did.
With the temple – the Mountain of the Lord – as their North Star, they gain a clearer vision of who they are, where they’re going, and the covenants that anchor and connect them to Christ. It centers their purpose. And fuels their ascent.
But this isn’t a solo trek. They lead. They serve. They lift.
Brotherhood deepens as they shoulder responsibilities and move forward together—through shared challenges, powerful quorum unity, and moments of laughter, grit, and grace. Every hike, every fireside conversation, every act of faith becomes a stone laid on the path to manhood and divine destiny.
And when they descend the mountain, they don’t return the same. They come back ignited. Anchored. Transformed. Ready to walk as true disciples of Christ—steady and sure—in a world that desperately needs them to rise.
All teacher and priest age young men (14-18 year old) AND YOUR FRIENDS are invited to attend. Since its beginning in 1993, Rendezvous has always been a place for all young men to experience some exciting and challenging outpost activities! That’s not changing! One of our major objectives now is to have Rendezvous become youth run and youth led by inviting and helping 16-18 age young men feel comfortable and confident leading as many of the outpost activities as possible. They do this with the assistance, mentoring and guidance of the Stake Young Men’s presidency and ward Priest Quorum Advisers.
