Easter and our Global Youth Service Day are quickly approaching. We want to bring to your attention two requests for assistance from the organizations that participated in our Living Water concert two weeks ago.
1. Family of God Christian Fellowship (FOGCF) church is looking for 4-5 youth to help distribute food to needy individuals at their location on University and Lindsay. The date is Saturday, April 19. Please contact us for additional information.
2. The Resurrection Street Ministry (RSM) is preparing its heat relief and food distribution facilities prior to their May reopening. This is a posted JustServe volunteer opportunity for Saturday, April 26, anytime between 8 am – 2 pm.
Our stake leaders would like to continue to work with this terrific group, and we are being encouraged to bring as many youth groups and leaders as we can to help for 1-2 hours. Link for additional information: https://www.justserve.org/…/preparing-respite-center…
We are already hearing wonderful things from your wards and are so happy that we can celebrate the life of the Savior at this special time of year by doing what He would do.
