SUMMARY:Global Youth Service Day - April 28-30 or Through The Whole Month
DESCRIPTION:The month of April includes an opportunity for youth around the
  world to serve their communities. Global Youth Service Day — the larg
 est annual celebration of young volunteers — will be marked from April 2
 8-30 this year\, though the whole month of April can be used to serve.\n\n
 Global Youth Service Day is one of three annual activities that our Area P
 residency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has asked sta
 kes to support and we are excited to work with you in any way.\n\nYouth ca
 n serve on their own\, with friends\, with their families\, or in a joint 
 project with other ward or stake members and neighbors in their area. Talk
  to your youth leaders for any ward or stake activities planned.\n\nJustS
 erve is a platform connecting community service needs with volunteers. Us
 ers can search for projects by location and set filters based on their int
 erests and talents.\nAs you meet with your congregation's adult and youth 
 leaders\, please consider the following guidelines:\n1. Explain the focus 
 (a worldwide day of service for youth)\n2. Discuss things that the youth l
 eaders would like to do.\n3. Try to help them match their desire with exis
 ting opportunities.\n4. If you cannot find any opportunities that fit\, co
 ntact us (Stake JustServe Specialists)\, and let's see how we can craft a 
 specific service for your group using our stake outreach resources.\n5. Al
 low youth leaders to contact community service sponsors and plan the even
 t with your support\n6. Ensure that pictures are taken and that a summary 
 is provided to the stake (us again) so that we can submit to our Area lead
 ers. (more on this later).\n\nWe are here to help in any way\, so please l
 et us know how we can be of service to you. We have many different sponsor
 s that we work with that may be able to provide unique youth opportunities
  based upon the direction your ward takes.\nIf you have questions about l
