The annual Mountain View Stake Commuity Youth Standards Night will be held Sunday Aug. 17th, 7 pm at the Mountain View Stake Center church building located at 1550 N. Val Vista Drive
All Young Men and Young Women age youth within the Mesa Mountain View Stake Commuity, their parents and church leaders are invited to attend. Sunday best dress is encouraged.
A Stake Youth Standards Night in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a spiritually focused gathering designed to help youth understand and commit to living gospel standards. It’s typically held annually and includes both Young Men and Young Women, often with their parents and leaders invited too.
Standards Night can
- Reinforce gospel standards from the For the Strength of Youth guide which can include dating, dress and appearance, honesty, media use, and personal worthiness
- Create a safe, uplifting environment away from worldly influences
- Strengthen testimonies of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father with youth tesimonies and spritual messages from stake and ward leaders
- Build unity and friendship among youth across the stake community
